| Choose and Book is set to bring real improvements for patients. And real benefits for clinicians. It provides a more flexible and responsive health service that fits around people’s individual lives. At least 89% of PCTs have gone live and are booking, with over 90% of GPs registered to the Choose and Book service. As booking volume increases, the challenge ahead will be to mainstream and sustain Choose and Book as a robust system. It must also be successfully integrated with other system reforms such as Choice and Practice Based Commissioning.
